What each state means
SRT Cloud takes one SRT input and delivers unlimited bit-exact copies to your takers. This page tracks the platform behind that: ingest, distribution, the dashboard and the API. Each component shows one of these states.
- Operational
- Everything is running normally. Feeds are arriving and every taker is receiving its bit-exact copy.
- Degraded
- The component works, but slower or less reliably than usual — for example higher latency or occasional retransmissions. Streams keep running.
- Partial outage
- Part of the component is unavailable — typically one region or a subset of streams. Unaffected streams keep running.
- Major outage
- The component is unavailable for most or all customers. We post an incident and update it until it is resolved.
- Maintenance
- Planned work on the component. We schedule it to keep live streams running wherever possible and log it in the incident history.
Status questions
Is SRT Cloud down right now?
The banner at the top of this page shows the current state of the platform. A green banner means ingest, distribution, the dashboard and the API are all running normally. Any open incident is listed under Incident history with its latest update.
What does this page cover?
The four parts of the platform: Ingest (your SRT input arriving on our servers), Distribution (the bit-exact SRT copies delivered to your takers), the Dashboard (the web app) and API & AI access (the API and the MCP endpoint for AI agents).
Everything here is green, but my stream has a problem. What now?
This page shows platform-wide health, not the health of a single stream. Open Monitoring in your dashboard to see your stream's live connections — bandwidth, round-trip time and packet loss for the input and every taker. Most single-stream issues are on the source or the taker side (wrong port, passphrase or latency setting). If you are still stuck, open a support ticket from your dashboard.
How are incidents reported?
Our engineers post an incident here as soon as they confirm a platform issue, move it through Investigating, Identified and Monitoring, and mark it Resolved with a short summary. Incidents and maintenance from the last 90 days stay visible.
Does maintenance interrupt live streams?
We plan maintenance to keep live feeds running wherever possible. Planned work is posted here as a Maintenance entry, so you can see what was done and when.
Troubleshooting a single stream
Watch how to read your stream's live connections in Monitor your feed, check the URL options in SRT URL parameters, or read how SRT distribution works end to end. Still stuck? Open a support ticket from your dashboard.
